Coaches’ Corner
Dive Ontario is extremely privileged to have some of the very best dive coaches in all of Canada and even the world. Our coaches have trained thousands of divers ranging from purely recreational participants to elite, high performance athletes who successfully compete at provincial, national and international events.
Just prior to the start of the 2010 - 2011 season, the founder and coach of the Gatquatic Divers, George A. Tinnerman announced his retirement. In honour of George’s lifelong commitment to all of the Canadian diving community, Dive Ontario will present at each provincial championship to the Tier II coach(es) of the year the “ the George A. Tinnerman, Coach of the Year Award”.
Congratulations George and best wishes for a healthy and happy retirement.
